Information about the Germany Ticket
With the 63-euro ticket from Deutsche Bahn, you can use local and regional public transport throughout Germany for at least two years.

The ticket is only available as a monthly subscription that can be cancelled at any time.

It can be used on public transport (bus, subway, S-Bahn, tram) and for local and regional trains.

It is available digitally via a smartphone app or as a chip card.

You benefit from unlimited rides.

However, long-distance buses, ICE, EC and IC trains and trains from other providers (Flixtrain etc.) are not included.

The ticket is personal and therefore non-transferable.

The Germany Ticket (currently €63 per month) is accepted on the Harz Narrow Gauge Railways (HSB). It is valid on all regular trains across the entire Harzquerbahn and Selketalbahn network. A special feature: you can even use it on the historic steam trains at no extra charge.
Important exceptions and special features:
- Route to the Brocken: The ticket is still not valid between Drei Annen Hohne station and the Brocken summit. A separate ticket at the Brocken fare is required for this section.
- Bonus for subscribers: Anyone who takes out their Deutschlandticket subscription directly through HSB will receive a voucher for a one-way trip to the Brocken as a thank you gift.
- Note: Please check the current availability in the HSB online portal beforehand, as new registrations were temporarily paused there due to technical changes.
