Chanterelle season
The German name for this mushroom genus comes from Middle High German and derives from the slightly peppery taste of its flesh. From June onwards, fresh chanterelles are a star attraction on our menu. Look forward to traditional preparations as well as refined dishes featuring this popular mushroom variety. We are delighted to welcome you to our castle restaurant daily from 18 pm to 21:30 pm for a culinary experience.
Autumn dishes
Autumn is pumpkin season. Did you know that this healthy orange autumn companion is a fruit-vegetable, a hybrid of fruit and vegetable? However you choose to define it, we assure you that our kitchen team always prepares it deliciously from September onwards. Whether as a purée or in a soup, treat your palate to our creations. Pumpkins are joined by other perfect autumn vegetables such as cabbage, chestnuts, and more.

Goose dinner
Enjoy a generous serving of goose at our annual St. Martin's Day goose dinner from November 11th to December 21st, 2026. A tradition and a culinary delight combined: Enjoy a complete goose dinner with family or friends at our castle restaurant. One whole goose (approximately 4,4 kg raw weight) for four people, including red cabbage, potatoes or dumplings, is available for €159.

Christmas
Give your kitchen a break this Christmas and join us at the castle restaurant. On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, our traditional Christmas buffet awaits you from 12 pm to 2 pm. Enjoy the most wonderful time of the year with family and friends, savoring delicious food in a festive atmosphere. Advance reservations are requested.

Enjoy an exquisite , five-course candlelit dinner with your loved one . This dinner is not just about good food, but about the closeness we share and the moments we experience together. We look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant from 6 pm.

Lights out – senses awaken: Experience a special evening by candlelight in our Green Salon, where indulgence and sustainability come together. Enjoy a vegan menu made with carefully selected ingredients (meat is available as a main course upon request). For every vegan main course ordered, we will plant a tree in the Derenburg municipal forest. Reserve now and experience a truly special evening.
