Health protection
At the Schlosshotel Blankenburg, your safety and health always have the highest priority. For your protection and to protect our employees, we have adapted our existing preventive and hygiene measures in the hotel in accordance with the regulations for containing the corona virus. Hygiene is always the focus in our hotel.
The hygiene standards specified by the German health authorities are implemented daily in the Schlosshotel Blankenburg. Our entire team is fully trained in the current prevention and hygiene rules as well as the corresponding rules of conduct. We strictly ensure that every employee adheres to the rules of conduct.
We have taken a number of measures, in particular to prevent movement in the hotel or at least to control movement in the hotel. We are very well aware of these restrictions, but they ultimately only serve to protect you.
We regularly disinfect surfaces relevant to transmission (tables, door handles, lifts, toilets, wellness area)
We control compliance with a minimum distance of 1.5 m for all guests, employees and external persons
We make sure that everyone disinfects their hands on arrival at the hotel and that they wear a protective mask if necessary
We communicate and follow the sneeze and cough etiquette with guests and employees
We avoid direct hand contact throughout the hotel
Guests are advised to use elevators only one room at a time
Employees who come into contact with guests always wear protective masks
Spit and sneeze protection are installed at the reception desk
We have reduced frequently touched objects to a minimum and disinfect these objects after use
We prefer cashless payment options, there is a shelf available for cash
We have placed distance markings of 1.5 m at the reception
Hand disinfectants are available to guests
We have placed the tables with a minimum distance of 1.50 m
Only guests from one room or guests living in one household sit together at one table
We make sure that guests do not come into contact with objects that other guests have already touched
At our buffets, all food is provided in portions for self-service
Guests are required to wear mouth and nose protection at the buffet
Guests are also required to disinfect their hands before going to the buffet. Disinfectants are available for this
In order to avoid queues at the buffet, we ask our guests to go to the buffet one by one or at least keep a minimum distance of 1.5 m from other guests
We have replaced menus with boards that are carried to the table. We present wines and special menus on paper that is destroyed after use
We disinfect tables and objects extensively after each session
We have also introduced and documented extended hygiene regulations in the kitchen (such as disposable gloves, disinfection, minimum distance, etc.)
Housekeeping staff wear protective masks and disposable gloves
We dispense with any brochures, printed matter and guest amenities in the room
We clean and disinfect all surfaces in the room
To avoid further contact, we will only clean your room during your stay at your express request
TV remote controls are wrapped in foil (the foil is exchanged during alternating cleaning)
Cleaning utensils are changed after each room
The sauna is initially closed
Wellness appointments must be booked no later than 48 hours before the appointment
We document every treatment in writing
The employees wear a protective mask during treatment
Distance rules are adhered to as far as possible
We have removed all printed matter and unnecessary items
We carry out a thorough surface disinfection after each treatment
We have positioned the tables with a minimum distance of 1.50 m
We thoroughly clean and disinfect all surfaces (tables and conference equipment) after the end of a conference
We only serve meals in individual portions during the conference breaks
We lay out moderation materials loose without a suitcase and as required
Trainer pens for flip charts and pin board cards are newly procured for each conference. The trainer can and should take the pens with him after the event. We will dispose of pens that are not taken by the trainer after the event
We will hand out the required amount of flipchart paper upon request. We will dispose of any unused paper after the event
Please stay at home if you are ill or have symptoms of illness
Please keep a distance of at least 1.5 m from other people in our common areas
Observe the general hygiene and prevention regulations (regular hand washing, sneeze and cough etiquette, etc.)
Please note the country-specific restrictions on leisure activities; some activities may not be available at the moment
