Our cozy little town of Blankenburg not only has numerous destinations in the direct vicinity, but is also wonderfully centrally located. So you can get from here by bus, bike, train or car within half an hour to any Harz region or village that you want to explore.

In the center of Blankenburg is the biological outdoor pool “Am Thie“. You can reach the outdoor pool, with sunbathing lawn, diving rock, stainless steel slide and adventure pool, in just 10 minutes on foot directly from the Schlosshotel. With the spa card you get one-time free admission.

Through snowy forests in the Harz Mountains, many well-groomed trails lead cross-country skiers on about 500 km of groomed trails with various levels of difficulty. The nearest cross-country trails are located in Schierke.
